Arthur Pryor

Famous trombone soloist with the Sousa Band.  His recordings are considered to be some of the greatest of all trombone solos.  Later conducted his own band known as Pryor’s Band, which toured the United States.  He was the first well-known band conductor to make phonograph records.  Known as a guest conductor and clinician for professional bands.  Charter member of the American Bandmasters Association.
