Raymond F. Dvorak

(March 31, 1900-1982)

Induction: February 2, 1985

Director of Bands at the University of Wisconsin.  Was instrumental in getting John Philip Sousa into the Hall of Fame for Great Americans.  Nationally known as a clinician and adjudicator.  Helped build the Midwest Clinic into the great organization it is today.  Encouraged many famous composers to write for the band. Past President of the American Bandmasters Association.
